1. Why do I first meet with a Law Support staff member instead of a lawyer?

Your free consultation is designed to collect important details about your matter. This preparation ensures that, during your paid consultation, the attorney can focus entirely on giving you legal advice and strategy, rather than spending valuable time on background gathering.

2. Will I receive legal advice during the free consultation?

No. The free consultation is an information-gathering session only. Legal advice is provided exclusively by our attorneys during a paid consultation.

3. How does this process benefit me as a client?

It saves you money and time. By the time you meet with your lawyer, they will already know your story, so you can use your paid consultation more effectively to receive tailored advice and solutions.

4. Who will I meet with in the free consultation?

You’ll meet our trained Law Support staff, who will also assist your attorney once your case begins. This ensures continuity—you won’t have to repeat yourself at every stage of the process.

5. What if I want to speak directly with a lawyer right away?

If you prefer to skip the free consultation and speak directly with a lawyer, you may book a paid consultation through our Consultation Options.

6. Do you offer discounts on paid consultations if I move forward with my case?
Yes. We offer a Sliding Scale Discount, applied to one paid consultation if you proceed to a full case within 21 days (3 weeks):
  • $50 Express (10 minutes) – 25% credited toward a full case
  • $290 (30 minutes) – 50% credited toward a full case
  • $450 (1 hour) – 100% credited toward a full case
This ensures your initial investment in legal advice directly supports your ongoing case.
7. Will my lawyer have access to what I shared with the Law Support staff?

Yes. All the information gathered is securely documented and passed directly to your attorney. This allows for a seamless transition and a more impactful, efficient consultation with your lawyer.

8. What are your office hours?

Our office is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Pacific Time, California).
For clients in the United Kingdom, this is 5:00 PM – 12:00 Midnight UK time, making it convenient for you to reach us after your workday.

9. How does this process help my case overall?

By clearing away the preliminary details early, your lawyer can focus on what matters most: building a stronger case and providing the right strategy from day one. This two-step process ensures better preparation, clearer communication, and maximum value for every consultation.
